About Wild Seed Botanicals

Wild Seed is founded on two main philosophies: (1) we believe that nature is all encompassing, has the power to heal, nourish and restore.  As a result, we desire to co-create with nature a range of products that are simply seed to skin. (2) Moving away from mainstream cosmetics that are laden with synthetics and fillers, Wild Seed Botanicals brings products that are not only efficacious but foster a sense of wellness by helping you reconnect to yourself through nature.

Wellness springs and blooms from the fountain of self-love. "To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance." ~Oscar Wilde A continual labour that deepens with self-care.

We seek to bring you not just products but a new way of thinking, of connecting and rediscovering. Our beauty rituals are created with self-care at its core, an escape from the stresses of the world and a moment to be kind to yourself and intentional.

Although Wild Seed was born in the heart of London, its roots are firmly planted in the heart of African Holistic Traditions. All of our products are handmade in small batches to ensure that we deliver the most potent, raw and purest potions. We use the finest wildcrafted, organic cold pressed and steam distilled carrier oils, butters, essential oils and botanical herbs. All of our ingredients are ethically sourced, active and included for their therapeutic effects. Our products contain no animal by-products and we only test on humans.

 About the Founder/Alchemist

wild seed botanicals founder

Born in Ghana, West Africa, to parents of Hausa and Asante descent, Laila spent most of her childhood surrounded by a rich culture of holistic living. From a young age, her grandparents educated her on herbal medicine, natural remedies and the importance of reconnecting with herself through nature. This fostered a passion and curiosity for Botany that transcended beyond her imagination. It is these core values that became the archetype for her creations when she moved to London and these same values that attracted her to Octavia Bulter’s Wild Seed novel.
