3 Easy DIY Face Mask Recipes For Different Skin Concerns

Besides the general benefits of using a face mask, a masking ritual is rewarding in mind, body and spirit. There are so many ways in which you can activate our Green Smoothie Face Mask to meet the needs of your skin or even mood! The best thing is, these simple ingredients are readily available in your homes. Perfect for a Self-Care Sunday treat.

1. Dehydrated/ Dry Skin - Honey and Aloe Vera

Try mixing your Green Smoothie Clay Mask with Honey and Aloe Vera for a soothing and hydrating feeling. Apply the mask for 10-15 minutes and then wash off. This is perfect for acne-prone skin. For our Vegans, you can use Agave Nector in replacement of honey.

2. Irritated & Sensitive skin- Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea works really well as it helps to fade spots, eliminate acne scars and has anti-inflammatory properties. Brew yourself a cup of chamomile tea and set aside a little of the tea to add to your mask. Combine with our clay mask will help calm your skin and will give it all the antioxidants it needs.

3. Breakouts/Acne-prone skin - ACV

Mix your mask with some apple cider and water and leave on for 10-15 before washing off. The acids in the ACV works wonders on skin that is prone to breakouts and blemishes. ACV is also great for your digestive system, if you mix this with honey, lemon and water and drink in the morning, this is sure to give your body the cleanse it needs. Just make sure to get Apple Cider that contains ‘Mother’

Let us know in our Instagram comments if you've tried any of these, we would love to know.
