Terms of service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Welcome to Wild Seed Botanicals. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. They explain who we are, how we sell our products to you, and what to do if there is a problem. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Wild Seed LTD, trading as Wild Seed Botanicals ("we", "us", "our"), a company based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us by email at info@wildseedbotanicals.com. Our business address is shown on our Contact page.

2. Ordering and how the contract is formed

  • When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging it. This is not yet acceptance of your order.
  • Our acceptance takes place, and a contract is formed between you and us, when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched.
  • We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if there is an obvious pricing error. If so, we will let you know and refund any payment taken in full.
  • Please check your order carefully before submitting it, and let us know as soon as possible if you spot an error.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Any VAT due is clearly shown before you pay. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
  • International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are payable by the buyer (see our Shipping policy).
  • Payment is taken at the time of ordering using the secure payment methods shown at checkout.
  • If we discover an obvious error in the price of an item, we will contact you before accepting your order and you may choose to cancel it.

4. Handmade products and dispatch

Our products are handmade in small batches, and many are made to order so they reach you fresh. Please allow 1–5 working days for your order to be prepared and dispatched. Because our products are handmade from natural ingredients, slight variations in colour, scent and texture between batches are normal and are not a fault.

5. Delivery

Delivery options, timescales and charges are set out in our Shipping policy. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Please make sure your delivery address is complete and correct.

6. Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You must return the goods within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel, and for change-of-mind returns you pay the return postage. Full details are in our Refund policy.

Sealed hygiene goods: because our products are toiletries applied to the skin, the right to cancel does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery.

7. Faulty or damaged goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, our goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and we will offer a replacement or refund, including postage costs. Your legal rights may also give you remedies after this period. See our Refund policy for details.

8. Using our products safely

  • Our products are made with natural ingredients, which may include nut oils and butters (such as shea) and essential oils. Please read the full ingredient list on the product page and label before buying or using a product, particularly if you have any allergies or sensitivities.
  • Patch test before first use: apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist or elbow and wait 24 hours. If any redness, itching or irritation occurs, do not use the product.
  • If you experience a reaction at any time, stop using the product straight away and seek medical advice if needed. Please also let us know (see our Refund policy).
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical or skin condition, or are taking medication, please consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare professional before use.
  • Our products are for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin, and keep out of reach of children. Clay masks and body polishes should be used as directed on the label. Oils and butters can make surfaces such as baths and showers slippery, so please take care.
  • Our products are cosmetics. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Any information on our website is for general interest and is not medical advice.
  • Store products as directed on the label and use within the stated period after opening.

9. Product information and images

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. However, because each item is handmade from natural ingredients, colours, textures and packaging may vary slightly from the images shown, and colours may display differently on different screens. Any images of results or use are for illustration only.

10. Gift cards

Gift cards can be used to buy products on our website. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law. Please keep your gift card code safe, as we cannot replace a code that has been used by someone else. Any remaining balance stays on the card for future use.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including our brand name, logo, text, product names, photographs and designs, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Our liability to you

  • If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
  • We supply our products for domestic and private use only. We are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
  • We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal or courier disruption, customs delays, severe weather or supplier shortages. If this happens, we will let you know and do what we can to minimise the effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on our website when you placed it.

16. Contact us

If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at info@wildseedbotanicals.com. Our business address is shown on our Contact page.
